NADSR Available Dogs

Please view the available dogs below. All NADSR dogs have been temperament tested, are up to date on vaccinations, have been microchipped and are spayed or neutered. If you find a dog you are interested in adopting please fill out a pre-adopt form and fax or email it to your regional coordinator. We cannot garauntee that the dog you choose will still be available at the time you send in your form, nor can we garauntee that the dog you select will be a good match for your family. We place our dogs very carefully; we want to make sure that the home they go to is their last home. All of our dogs are also listed on Petfinder. 	"Arno" in VA 2 years old male, no cats, small children and must go to an experienced handler who is dedicated to getting Arno some OB training, socialization and lots of exercise. More info to come soon. Arno will be neutered prior to adoption, he is currently micro chipped, dewormed and current on vaccines and heartworm prevention. He is currently being fostered in VA, but NADSR maybe moving him to Tennessee for a better Evaluation of Arno. NADSR does adopt nationally. 	"Anje" in CA Anje -3.5 year female. She is very athletic and loves to run with her master. Anje gets along with other dogs, is very social, crate trained and house broken. Anje is spayed, microchipped, dewormed and current on vaccines and heartworm prevention. She is being fostered in Southern CA, but NADSR does adopt nationally. 	"Noah" in TN Noah -18-24 months, was found living out of an abandoned house outside of Nashville, TN. Animal Control tried to catch him, but he was too smart � even for their live traps. A kind hearted officer made daily trips to the house leaving food and water, and gaining trust. Months later, he was able to get a leash on him. I was contacted about Noah the day before his euthanasia. Many people jumped to his aid and I was able to get him pulled in time. When I first met Noah, he was a tick infested (no less than 100), submissive, desperate boy. He wanted attention. But he also lacked any sense of confidence in interaction. He was quiet and lived to lie in your lap with a hand on his head. He has since grown into a very happy boy. He loves to play in the yard with other dogs (he is wonderful with young dogs and females) and chase a toy. He lacks any real working drive, but plays just to interact with his people. Noah will be a wonderful, albeit active, addition to any home. Noah is nuetered, microchipped, dewormed and current on vaccines and heartworm prevention.
